This tour start at 8:00 am. picking you up from the hotel, then we go the first place. The ceremony of INTI RAYMI has three different scenes in three different places, it starts at the QORICANCHA Palace, placed on Avenue el Sol, then we head for Main Square (Plaza de Armas del Cusco), where the second scene will be held and finally it ends with the special scene held in SAQSAYWAMAN (3km from Cusco), where we will go on bus.

Cusco people are still representing it with the same fervor which their ancestors made it into the splendid time of the empire. There were several reasons which prompted the Inca civilization to make the sacrifices and offerings to the sun. One was that the Inca and the Cusco nobility were considered natural sons of the sun and they needed to obey his existence, and should correspond with sacrifices and offerings. On the other hand, if the corn harvest was good, they had to thank him for it and if it was bad they had to beg for the coming year offset with a good production. In June is the winter solstice, in the Incas time they noticed the sun was going away, the cold increased, the water was frosty in dawn, because of that, Incas ask the sun to return, they asked the sun to return in dawn and does not proceed going northward. June 21 Lima/ Cusco
Reception and transfer from the airport to your hotel.
Free afternoon to acclimatize to the altitude of Cusco city (3330 m.a.s.l), and show the typical dances from Cusco.

June 22 / Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 3pm you will be taken to a city tour in Cusco and surrounding ruins like: KENKO, PUCA-PUCARA and TAMBOMACHAY, continuing to the fortress of SAQSAYWAMAN. When the tour finish you will return to your hotel.

June 23 / Sacred Valley / Cusco
Full day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with a visit to the traditional ANDEAN MARKET in PISAC it's a blend of color, tradition and people. Situated 30 km. (19 miles) from Cusco and at an altitude of 2,970 meters (9,700 ft.), PISAC is located at the gateway to the SACRED VALLEY. Lunch is included in URUBAMBA REST.

In the afternoon you will visit the fortress of OLLANTAYTAMBO which is huge religious, military, social, administrative and agricultural complex from TAHUANTINSUYO times. OLLANTAYTAMBO has narrow streets and canals unchanged since Inca's times, recall its ancient heritage. Return to Cusco and your hotel.

June 24 / INTI RAYMI
This is the central day and the principal party of Cusco. INTI RAYMI means "THE SUN PARTY" it was a celebration day with offers and sacrifices for their sun god evoking the religious ceremonies of Incas times. This ceremony begins in the temple of QORICANCHA then pass to the MAIN SQUARE ending in the esplanade of SACSAYHUAMAN where the central ceremony is developed.

In this party you can appreciate the main person in the tawantinsuyo the INCA. You can see also the clothes that people use to were in those times. After the ceremony you can see folkloric groups of dance. Box lunch included.

June 25 / Machupicchu / Cusco
Early departure from your hotel to the train station for a full day tour in the citadel of MACHUPICCHU, the "Lost City of the Incas", one of the most renowned examples of Inca's architecture. The construction is completely by stones considering in mind the mechanical limit devices available in Inca times; Machupicchu is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

The citadel is located on a mist-shrouded mountaintop surrounded by lush forest. Lunch is included in AGUAS CALIENTES. Return to Cusco by train in the afternoon. Arrival and transfer to your hotel.
June 26 / Lima
Early departure from Velasco Astete airport to Lima.

This tour includes the visit to the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the Cathedral of the Cusco, the famous archeological complex of Saqsaywaman, archeological sites of Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (worship place of water).

Day 24th: Inti Raymi
Pick you up from your hotel (08:30 am.), transfer to Qoricancha, where the Inti Raymi begins, tour guided during the Inti Raymi, box lunch, transfer to Saqsaywaman and finally transfer to your hotel.

Day 25th: Sacred Valley
After breakfast, about 08:30 am. You’ll have a long day trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It includes the Pisaq Market and archeological place, then we’ll have lunch, after we’ll visit Andean towns of Calca and Urubamba and the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. After we will come back to Cusco. Overnight.

Day 26th: Machupicchu
Early you will have your breakfast and transfer to the train station for a train trip to Machupicchu. Guided visit to the Machupicchu citadel. Around at 14:30 (vistadome service) or 16:00 (backpacker service), we’ll return to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 27th: Cusco – Lima
Breakfast, transfer by bus to the airport or bus station for your travel to your next destination or flight back home.
